The City is looking to develop a community-driven lake restoration approach that includes an analysis of the watershed, modeling of external and internal nutrient loading, the development of a lake response model, and facilitation of community-based planning.

The purpose of this study is to:

1. Identify the conditions that are causing poor water quality in the lake
2. Develop goals for the use of the lake
3. Develop a roadmap for the restoration of the lake that balances attainable conditions with the desired recreational uses of the lake.
