Silver Lake City Park
Located along the lake, Silver Lake City Park provides a scenic area for family picnics, reunions or just a place for the kids to play.
Also located at the City Park is the Knox Cabin. This was the first home in Lake Park and was built by C. B. Knox in 1869 on the north side of Silver Lake. The home is furnished with many of the items common to that time period.
Amenities of the City Park include:
- Shelter house - divided into two areas
- Picnic tables
- Playground equipment
- Fishing dock
- Camping area
- Swimming pool
- Tennis courts
- Basketball court
- Sand volleyball court
- Horseshoe court
- Disc Golf course
Trappers Bay State Park
Along the north side of Silver Lake is Trappers Bay State Park. The park has a shelter house and several areas for fishing from shore or from a dock.
