Memorial Day Program
American Legion Post #371 of Lake Park will be having Memorial Day program with Dr. Tim Destigter as the guest speaker. Following the program at the school, the Avenue Flags will be having it dedication service at the Silver Lake Cemetery. The public is encouraged to attend.
The American Legion family will be putting up the Avenue of Flags at 7:30 AM May 26, 2008 and retiring them at 5 PM the same day at the Silver Lake Cemetery. The community is encouraged to come either time or both and help honor veterans with hanging their flags.
