In August Lake Park will celebrate its Quasquicentennial! Watch this page updates on events and activites.

Quasquicentennial Items

The following organizations are selling items for Lake Park's 125th:

  • The Lake Park Historical Society has cookbooks for sale
  • The Federated Women's Club has birthday calendars for sale
  • Certificates are available for a chance to win the Silver Lake end table that was constructed by Jared Herbert. The table is available for viewing at City Hall. The drawing will be held on August 6th, 2017. Certificates are $25 each and you may call Carol Johnson at 712-320-3433 to get them.
  • Souvenirs so far: Shirts at City Hall and Cap'n Ken's, Pottery at City Hall.
  • The Silver Lake Country Club is selling raffle tickets for a John Deere D130 Lawn Tractor,
    Stihl BG50 Gas Leaf Blower, Stihl F538 Gas weed Trimmer, and a John Deere Utility Cart. The drawing will be Sunday, August 6th.
  • The Lake Park Historical Society is hosting a Beard Contest [FORM]
