Citywide Garage Sale

The annual citywide garage sale will be held on Saturday, June 1. If you would like to register your garage sale, you may do so at the Lake Park Municipal Utilities office anytime before May 28. We will post the locations of all the registered garage sales on this website on May 28.

The Mayor and City Council are the legislative and policy-making body for the City of Lake Park. As elected representatives of the citizens, the Mayor and City Council provide the policy direction and program guidance necessary to direct the community's economic, social, and physical development. The Mayor and council members are elected at-large. The Mayor, with approval of the Council, appoints members of policy-making boards and commissions of the City.

The major responsibilities of the Mayor and City Council include enacting ordinances, setting property tax rates, approving City service levels, authorizing the budget, and participating in community economic development efforts.
